Review Policy

Really, I'm darned new at this, so right now I'm just reviewing what library books I can get my hands on or what ARCs the publishers are nice enough to offer me. But if anyone actually wants me to review something, go ahead and comment over here. I'll try to get to it, somehow. And I'll give my honest opinion. Just note that my opinion doesn't necessarily coincide with yours or the majority's. It's, well, my opinion.

So here's the rating guide:

 Note: I will rarely, rarely ever give a book this rating. Because I hardly ever believe a book deserving of a one-note. That said, if I should ever give a book this rating, well... We'll see.


Well, this one speaks for itself. It doesn't mean the book's awful or bad, it's just boring or uninteresting for me. (And I'm a pretty stuck-up reader.)

The average book. Actually, this means I sort of like it. A pleasant read, not gripping or life-altering maybe, but pleasant enough to hold my attention throughout the novel.

I like this book. I'll pay good money to display it on my shelf. It's an enjoyable read. If it's a series, I'll probably read its sequels. I might even follow the author's other works.




I am in LURVE with the book. Yes, it's affected my grammar even. I'll shell out cold hard cash for the book, the collector's edition, heck, everything. I'll even buy the sequels without knowing what they're about.


And there you have it. If things go my way, I'll probably be doing one review per day. I'm a pretty fast reader as a rule, so it's quite common for me to finish two to four books a day. Hopefully, you'll be seeing me around more often.
